FAQS

Here are some answers to our frequently asked questions! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.

What should I expect as a new client?

We do not have a front desk staff at Rx and our phones are managed by both the owner and manager of the business. This means that there are times when we are practicing massage and unable to answer but we will respond to texts and voicemails at our earliest convenience.Appointments can be managed online up until 24 hours before your appointment. At the time of your first visit, we ask that you wait in the lobby until your therapist comes to take you back foryour massage. If you need the restroom code it is available on the inside of our suite door and the bathrooms are located just outside of our suite.

What should I wear to my massage appointment?

It’s often best to arrive in comfortable clothes for a couple reasons. First of all, it’s nice to leave in comfortable clothes after your massage. Secondly, comfortable clothes that stretch well can make it easier for us if you’re a person that likes and/or needs to be stretched. There are times where we will conduct a massage and then have you get dressed before we stretch you.

How often should I get a massage?

This varies per individual depending on how much tightness one has, how long it’s been since their last massage, and what kind of pain (if any) one may be experiencing. Your therapist can make a recommendation on frequency when you come in for your massage session.

Should I workout before or after my massage session?

Not at all. Our logo is a barbell to represent strength and fitness because we believe in the health benefits that fitness provides the body. While a large portion of our clients are athletes, we work with the general population as well. We believe that everyone can benefit from massage.

Do you only work on athletes?

We deal with a lot of clients experiencing carpal tunnel, limited range of motion, sciatic pain, tingling/numbness, muscle soreness, tennis elbow, etc. If you are unsure if massage can help you, feel free to call us with your questions/concerns and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.

Do you ever offer any loyalty discounts?
